Couleurs d'Aquitaine  was born in 2008 as the Union of the 3 caves of Dordogne (SW France):

  • Vignerons de Sigoulès, Bergerac & IGP Périgord

  • Cave de Monbazillac, Botytriswines

  • Alliance Aquitaine, Bergerac & Bordeaux

Since its creation in 2008, Couleurs d’Aquitainehas become one of the most important wine suppliers in the South-West of France, optimisingthe potential of each grower through a single sales and marketing strategy. The in-depth knowledge of their 400 wine growing families allows them to propose signature styles of high quality wines with constantly innovatvearomatic profiles and of all colours.

Their vineyards spread over 400 areas (Dordogne, Périgord, Bergerac and Bordeaux), a mosaic of landscape and Terroirs.

Vineyard

The vineyard extends on sandy and gravelly limestone soils on the commune of Le Fleix. Harvest is done mechanically.

Vinification

Direct pressing. Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks with control of temperatures. Then, wines are ageing in concrete tank.

Grapes Varieties

Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes

Nice pink color. Nice nose of red fruits : strawberry and raspberry. Very nice harmonious mouth with a fresh final.
 

Serving at 10-12°C.

Recommended Dishes

Ideal partner of starters, delicatessen or grilled meats.
