My father Robert created the estate in 1982.

He began with two hectares of vines in Davayé in the Saône-et-Loire department of the Burgundy region.

The estate had already grown to a size of ten hectares when I joined him in 2010.

Today, the estate extends over 18 hectares.

The vineyard begins in Davayé and descends the Rocks of Solutré and Vergisson into the heart of the Mâconnais.

The Chardonnay vines thrive in numerous parcels, each with its own characteristic of slope and soil. They benefit from various excellent exposures to produce the best “ cru” for MACON, SAINT VERAN, and POUILLY FUISSÉ.

Each step in the process of achieving our final product is dedicated to quality. From the time of growth in the vineyard until bottling, nothing is left to chance to grow and produce our wine in the best conditions.

The MARTIN family has developed their skill with love and respect for the region. We offer you wine of fine and subtle character that may be appreciated by both amateurs and experts.

The  earth, the  vine  and  the  grape merit passion and attention to the finest details. Thus is the  tradition we strive to perpetuate at Domaine Damien MARTIN.
